The color of the month for March, Nantucket Fog AC-22, was chosen by designer Lynda Holich. Lynda says, “Nantucket Fog is a great color for a young man or teenager’s bedroom. Transitioning a teenage boy’s bedroom from the baby blue of his nursery into a mature and more livable space can be complicated and I am often asked for help in choosing the right color. Nantucket Fog is a beautiful, inviting blue that pairs well with a gray color palette. Not exclusive to a boy’s bedroom, this would make a beautiful color to compliment white cabinets, black granite, and stainless steel in a kitchen.”

Each month, a different Babel’s interior designer discusses the current trends in interior design and chooses a Benjamin Moore color to highlight as the Babel’s Color of the Month.
For January, Michael Greene, interior designer, has chosen Beach Glass 1564 to compliment the cool blues, enchanting silvers, and lush accents that are currently leading the trends in the interior design field.
Michael says: “Right now the current trend is all things glam: sparkles, silvers, and silks. We are seeing a lot of aqua and silver color combinations in every room. In a kitchen, white cabinetry with quartz stone counter tops offer the look of marble without the hassle of potential staining. In a master suite, upholstered headboards combined silk draperies or a statement, wallpapered, accent wall create a luxurious and relaxing space. Beach Glass is the perfect medium-light aqua to give your space a feeling of opulence and comfort.”
